Spring Cleaning. Bookshelf Edition (Pictures) With a Mini-bookshelf tour.

This was my book shelf before I cleaned it.

So, I finally finished cleaning my shelves and while it is not exactly how I wanted it, it is much better than it was.  I think I need another bookshelf. I have a small one in our bedroom and I need to clean that one off as well and maybe there might be more room on there. Though I doubt that there is. However, my husband and I were talking and we may either buy a desk with a bookshelf around it. Which looks something like this.  . Now we are not sure if we are going purchase one or make it ourselves. Someday this will happen and will be awesome. However, for now the bookshelf spring cleaning is finished. Now let the mini bookshelf tour commence.

Shelf #1- On the top shelf I have all of my Kim Harrison and Patricia Briggs Books. These are two of my favorite authors, so why not have them on the first shelf right? The Kim Harrison Books include Her Rachel Morgan series and her Madison Avery series;  Rachel Morgan: Dead Witch Walking, The good the Bad and the Undead, Every Witch Way but Dead, A Fistful of Charms, For a Few Demons More, The Outlaw Demon Wails, White Witch Black Curse, Black Magic Sanction, Pale Demon, A Perfect Blood, Ever After and The Undead Pool.  Madison Avery: Once Dead, Twice Shy, Early to Death, Early to Rise and Something Deadly this way Comes. Also, there are some of  the novellas with her short stories. This includes: Dates from Hell, Unbound, Holidays are Hell, Hotter than Hell, Into the Woods, and The Hallows Insider. The Patricia Briggs books Consist of her Mercy Thompson series and her Alpha and Omega series. Mercy Thompson: Moon called, Blood Bound, Iron Kissed, Bone Crossed, Silver Born, River Marked and Frost Burned.  Alpha and Omega:  Cry Wolf, Fair Game and Hunting Ground. I also have a few teapots (that my husbands grandmother gave us), as well some Nightmare before Christmas snow globe type things and a T.A.R.D.I.S. and some Doctor Who bookmarks.

Shelf # 2: This shelf consists of my Harry Potter Collection (which I will not list all the names of the books, because I am sure that you all know them). My collection of Cassandra Clare books, which includes her two series The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices. Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, and City of Lost Souls. In May I will have a copy of City of Heavenly Fire. The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess. Also, from Cassandra Clare I have the Shadow Hunter Codex. This shelf also includes most of my Laurel K. Hamilton books. Currently, they are all out of order. So, I will not be listing the titles until I have them in the correct order. However, I do own both her Meredith Gentry series, and her Anita Blake series.

Shelf #3:  This shelf has the remaining Laurel K. Hamilton books that would not fit on shelf two. On this shelf I have the Strain Trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro (The Strain, The Fall and The Night Eternal),  The Nightshade series by Andrea Cremer (Nightshade, Wolfsbane, Bloodrose, Rift, Rise and Snakeroot), The White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter (Alice in Zombieland, and Through the Zombie glass), The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer(Twlight, New Moon, Eclipse, The Short Life of Bree Tanner, and Breaking Dawn), The Host by Stephanie Meyer, The White Trash Zombie by Diana Rowland (White Trash Zombie, Even White Trash Zombies get the Blues, and White Trash Zombie Apocalypse), The Sabina Kane Series by Jaye Wells (Red Headed Step Child, The Mage in Black, The Green Eyed Demon, Blue Blooded Vamp and The Silver Tongue Devil), The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost ( Halfway to the Grave, One Foot in the Grave, Destined for an Early Grave, At Grave’s End, First Drop of Crimson, This Side of the Grave, One Grave at a Time, Eternal Kiss of Darkness,  and Up from the Grave) and The Sign of the Zodiac series by Vicki Pettersson (The Scent of Shadows, The Taste of Night, The Touch of Twilight, City of Souls, Cheat the Grave and The Neon Graveyard).

Shelf #4: This shelf is the proud holder of The Chemical Garden series by Lauren DeSefano (Wither, Fever, and Sever), The Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand (Unearthly, Boundless and Hallowed), The Fallen series by Lauren Kate (Fallen, Torment, Passion, Fallen in Love, and Rapture), Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick (Hush Hush, Crescendo, Silence, and Finale) , A Quick Bite by Lyndsay Sands,  the first two books in The Jaz Parks series(Once Bitten Twice Shy and Another One Bites the Dust), Everlost by Neal Shusterman,  Matched series by Allie Condie (Matched, Crossed and Reached), DreamDark by Lani Taylor, the first three books in  The Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines, The Golden Lily and The Indigo Spell), Vampire Acadmey series by Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy, Frost Bite, Shadow Kissed, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound and Last Sacrafice) , Watch series by Sergei Lukyanenko (Night Watch, Day Watch, Twilight Watch and Last Watch), Kismet Knight series by Lynda Hillburn (Vampire Shrink and Dark Harvest), Den of Shadows by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, the first two books in the Vampires series by David Wellington( 13 Bullets and 99 Coffins), The Dead by Charlie Higson(did not realize that this was the second book in the series), Blue Moon by Alyson Noel (I own Evermore on my e-reader) and Vampires Kiss: The Beginning by Ellen Schreiber.

Shelf #5: On this shelf it holds my collection of Anne Rice novels. I own all of them (all except for some of her newer stuff). However, there are too many to list so, as of right now I am not going to list all there titles.  You will also find, the first three books in the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine (Glass Houses,  The Dead Girls Dance, and Midnight Alley), The first four books in the Vampire Huntress Legend by L.A. Banks (Minon, The Awakening, The Hunted and The Bitten),  Dreg City series by Kelly Meding (Three Days to Dead, As lie the Dead, Another Kind of Dead Wrong Side of Dead and Requiem for the Dead),  The Alex Craft Series by Kalayna Price ( Grave Witch, Grave Dance and Grave Memory), The first two in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlene Harris (Dead Until Dark and Living Dead in Dallas), Night Walker by Jocelyn Drake, Silence by Michelle Sagara,  Spider Bite by Jennifer Estep, the first two books in The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith(The Awakening and the Struggle), the first five books in the House of Night Series by P.C. Cast (Marked, Betraryed, Chosen, Untamed and Hunted), and the first two books in the Partholon Series by P.C.Cast (Divine by Mistake and Divine by Choice)

So that is it for this book shelf. Today I am doing only one bookshelf seeing as I have only cleaned off one. I hope you enjoyed this. I am getting The Diviners by Libba Bray, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins, and Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige.
