The Wicked will Rise by Danielle Paige Release Date: March 31, 2015

Synopsis: In this dark, high-octane sequel to the New York Times bestselling Dorothy Must Die, Amy Gumm must do everything in her power to kill Dorothy and free Oz.

To make Oz a free land again, Amy Gumm was given a mission: remove the Tin Woodman’s heart, steal the Scarecrow’s brain, take the Lion’s courage, and then Dorothy must die….

But Dorothy still lives. Now the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked has vanished, and mysterious Princess Ozma might be Amy’s only ally. As Amy learns the truth about her mission, she realizes that she’s only just scratched the surface of Oz’s past—and that Kansas, the home she couldn’t wait to leave behind, may also be in danger. In a place where the line between good and evil shifts with just a strong gust of wind, who can Amy trust—and who is really Wicked?

My Thoughts:  I am not a huge fan of the covers of this series, but that does not mean that I do not like them. I think they serve their purpose. They reveal enough about the story, but leave some a mystery, just enough to keep me interested. I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series. I am so excited for the release of this book. I cannot wait to see how twisted this world can really become. It was so creepy and magical in the first book. I am really hoping that it is the same in this book. Is anyone else excited for this book? Or has anyone had a chance to get an early copy? If so, what did you think? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this book.  Last, but not least, what is on your Wishlist Wednesday? I would love to know. Leave me a comment down below letting me know which books you are excited for this year!

Wishlist Wednesday hosted by Pen to Paper is a book blog hop in which you post about one book per week that has been on your wishlist for a while or  that was just recently added (entirely up to you) that you cannot wait to add to your shelves.

those she hates the most. She quickly discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy Silver control.

My Thoughts:  I absolutely LOVE this cover. I have heard nothing but good things about this book. It has been all over booktube and the girls over at Epic Reads keep talking about how awesome it is. Wishlist Wednesday # 7

Wishlist Wednesday hosted by Pen to Paper is a book blog hop in which you post about one book per week that has been on your wishlist for a while or  that was just recently added (entirely up to you) that you cannot wait to add to your shelves.

I was going to choose Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini, but I went to the store and bought it today! So, I can cross that off and add it to my I am extremely overabundant To Be Read shelf. So for this week I am going to choose something that does not get released until November. I am hoping that it comes out in November, because I have heard the release date for this book has been changed a few times. This weeks Wishlist Wednesday is…

The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

15768409Synopsis: Mara Dyer wants to believe there’s more to the lies she’s been told.
There is.

She doesn’t stop to think about where her quest for the truth might lead.
She should.

She never had to imagine how far she would go for vengeance.
She will now.

Loyalties are betrayed, guilt and innocence tangle, and fate and chance collide in this shocking conclusion to Mara Dyer’s story.
Retribution has arrived.

My Thoughts:  First off I have to say that I love the covers of these books. I think they are so alluring. They give off just enough about the book, but enough to make you wonder what this book could be about. I absolutely loved the first two books in the series. It is a crazy ride right until the end of the second where it leaves with this cliff hanger that just left me speechless. I am curious to see how this series ties up its loose ends and answers all the questions that have been going through my mind. How do you guys feel about this book? Are you excited? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. Also, leave your Wishlist Wednesday! I love seeing what you guys are excited about!

New Post Coming Soon!

Hey guys! So, I finished cleaning my bookshelf off. While it is not perfect, it will suffice. I just wanted to put a little update out there. I am working on an updated post about my bookshelves and I am adding a mini bookshelf tour. So, as soon as it is ready I will post it. I am going to try and have it done sometime tonight. If not, it will be completed near the end of the weekend. Also, I am in the middle of reading the Undead Pool by Kim Harrison, so, as soon as I finish reading it I will have a review for that as well. So until then my fellow book lovers I bid you adieu and happy reading.

Spring Cleaning. Bookshelf Edition.

I have today off from work! Yay! So, I figured today would be the day that I do some Spring Cleaning. I know that usually means cleaning the whole house and getting rid of some stuff that you no longer need. However, that is not the case for me. Spring Cleaning is just tackling my bookshelves and reorganizing them to make room for new books and to make it look pretty. I hate having a messy bookshelf. It is in my living room where I do most of my reading and if it is messy I have a hard time concentrating on reading, because I keep looking at it thinking that I need to clean it. Now, when I clean my bookshelf I have to take everything off of it, dust it, and then reorganize my books. I usually try to organize my books by series. However, I am not sure if this is really suiting me. I do like the idea of keeping them together, however, some of the series that I do own are a mix of paperback and hardcovers. I usually try to buy all hardcovers or paperbacks, but sometimes I cannot find all of the books in hardcover. For instance, in the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison I am missing both book four (A Fistful of Charms) and book five ( For a Few Demons More) in hardcover. Yes, I have tried various sites. Most of them are used and are selling for a couple hundred dollars. So, my search for those two books will continue. So all in all, I am trying to figure out a way to reorganize my bookshelf that makes me happy. How do you organize your books?
